We Believe in You
California community colleges give you limitless opportunities to improve your life. From workforce training to transfer opportunities, we are the backbone of higher education in California. Take a clear path to the career you want through the education you deserve.
Simply the Best
There's no better way to kick off your higher education than attending a California community college. Nearly 80,000 students transfer from community colleges to guaranteed saved spots at UC, CSU, HBCU and private, not-for-profit campuses every year. We are the nation's leading workforce training provider, and our degree and certificate programs offer a gateway to the career you always wanted.
A Better Life Awaits You
California community colleges play an essential role in ensuring access for all people to improve their quality of life. Our career education programs provide the training students need to secure jobs with good pay and create bright futures for themselves, their families and their communities.
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
California Community Colleges and the Board of Governors support all students in achieving their educational ambitions. As the largest higher education system in the country, we serve the most diverse student population, and we believe that our faculty, administration and staff should reflect that diversity. The California Community Colleges and Board of Governors remain committed to fostering an inclusive, anti-racist campus culture and eliminating achievement gaps once and for all.
What is a Land Acknowledgement?
A land acknowledgment is a formal statement that recognizes and respects the Indigenous peoples as traditional stewards of this land, the enduring relationship that exists between Indigenous peoples and their traditional lands. The California Community Colleges have formally adopted the use of a Land Acknowledgement statement that recognizes the original Tribal Nations of the land where our colleges are located. We honor and are grateful for the land we occupy and are committed to pursuing continuous collaborations with the Tribal Nations of California.
Vision for Success
Our vision is simple: ensure that students from all backgrounds succeed in reaching their goals and making a better life for themselves and their families.
