Your Higher Education Journey Begins with the Associate Degree for Transfer Program
California community colleges offer a great opportunity for students to achieve their goal of obtaining a four-year degree. Through the Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) program, California community college students can transfer seamlessly, with a guaranteed saved spot, to participating universities in California including California State Universities (CSUs) and Independent California Colleges and Universities and across the country, through Historically Black Colleges and Universities, after completing their major preparation and general education requirements. Once community college students complete their requirements for their preferred university and major, they can transfer to participating universities and begin as a junior. Most students will only need to earn an additional 60 credits once enrolled at their university to earn a bachelor’s degree. Those that participate in the ADT program will receive an affordable, equitable and high-quality education at a community college.
The ADT program helps students achieve their educational goals by saving time and money by starting at a community college and then transferring to four-year university.
